Terms of use

Your content

Only convert text you have the right to use. Public-domain books, your own writing and DRM-free books for personal listening are fine. You are responsible for how you use the audio you create.

Generated audio

The voices come from the Apache-2.0 Kokoro-82M model. Audio you generate is yours to use, including commercially, subject to your rights in the source text. Don't use the voices to impersonate real people or to deceive.

Plans and refunds

The free plan includes 20,000 characters per day. The Book Pass is a one-time payment for 7 days of unlimited use and does not renew. Pro renews monthly or yearly until cancelled; email us to cancel and you keep access until the period ends. If something didn't work, ask for a refund within 14 days.

Service

BookAloud is provided as is. Speed depends on your device. We may change features or prices; paid periods already bought are honoured.
