What we never receive

The text you paste and the PDF, EPUB or TXT files you open are processed only inside your browser. They are not uploaded, logged or stored by us.

What your browser downloads

To speak, your browser downloads the open Kokoro voice model from Hugging Face and code libraries from the jsDelivr CDN. Those services see a normal download request (IP address, browser) like any website asset.

What is stored in your browser

Your daily character count, daily-listen streak and, if you pay, your pass token are kept in your browser's local storage. Clearing site data removes them.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive the plan, amount and order id, plus the email you give Stripe for the receipt. We do not see your card details.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics (Umami) to count page views and anonymous events such as “audio generated”. No personal profile is built.
