- Your own manuscript exported from Word, Google Docs, Scrivener or Vellum.
Books with DRM (most Kindle and Apple Books purchases) cannot be opened by any converter — BookAloud will say so instead of failing silently.

Yes. Chapter titles come from the EPUB navigation (EPUB 3) or NCX (EPUB 2); files are named “01 Chapter title.mp3”.
